Spent time photographing one of our new listings, “Wilson’s Inheritance c.1838″. The smoke house, spring house, huge bank barn, various outbuildings from the original farmstead, all intact, even the brick outhouse (2 holer) still stands. The main house is grand. The day was sunny, all was quiet and transporting – just me and 120 acres – sigh – 19th century serenity. I love my job…this is a photo from 1875 (no, I did not take it )
